And the Ginner is… White House proves it 'distil' the best.

Otley’s White House Gin (www.whitehousedistillery.com) is celebrating its success in an international award.

The independent distillery, based in Otley has won the silver award at this year’s London Spirits Competition.

Local MP Alex Sobel met with White House’s founder Nick Jocelyn, at the distillery in Otley.

He said “It was fantastic to meet with Nick and to see his processes. He obviously cares deeply about his craft and this passion is reflected in the success he has received at a national level. We had a great discussion about the challenges of independent distilleries which will inform my work within Parliament.

Otley is a town full of creative independent businesses, and White House showcases some of the best we have to offer.”

Nick Jocelyn said, “It was fantastic to welcome Alex and to see his enthusiasm for independent distilleries. We are very proud of our Gin and our Rum and am delighted to have received national recognition.”

The London Spirits Competition awards “top quality spirits, that offer both the trade and the consumer great value for money” and that “look good and truly stand out on the shelf and on the back bar.”
