Every month I look back at how my team has helped people in the constituency with their individual issues and policy questions or ideas.
Every month the numbers go up.
For people's individual casework concerns I worked with my team on 141 cases in February, up from 118 this time last year.
Then there are the policy emails.
The situation in the Middle East is something people care deeply about, and that's reflected in our caseload. It's the subject of 51% of all our emails for February, and 68% of our policy emails specifically.
In February 2023 I received 309 policy emails from constituents. This February it was 810.
I'm really grateful to my team for dealing with this increased workload, and thank you to everyone who contacts me for help or to share their views - it's what we're here for.
