Happy International Women’s Day!
As the MP for Leeds North West, I am proud to represent so many exciting female-run initiatives, projects, and businesses in my constituency. Many employ local people, bring innovative ideas to the community, and celebrate woman entrepreneurship.
For IWD, we are giving you the chance to nominate a woman-ran SME (small to medium-sized enterprise) for the MP HERoes project. More information on MP HERoes can be found here: https://www.mpheroes.com/home
The winner for each constituency will link you with your local MP. MP HERoes businesses have the opportunity to be featured in local and national social media- a great opportunity for your business! Even if not chosen this time, MP Heroes will keep in touch and invite you to join many local and national events for women founders.

All nominations must follow this simple criteria: The criteria are straightforward: a woman who owns a business in the constituency, established at least 2-years, and employing people in the local area.
Nominations end Tuesday 15th March at Midday.
