I had a fantastic visit to Pirate Studios Leeds, meeting with Area Manager Debs and Elliott from Music Box Yorkshire.
I toured their 24/7 studios, including DJ, drum, dance, and podcast spaces, and learned about the new £180,000 Studios For All Fund, launched by Pirate Studios in partnership with Small Green Shoots and funded by the National Lottery, which will provide free studio time to charities supporting marginalised communities.
Elliott also shared how Music Box Yorkshire empowers young and disadvantaged people through music and podcast workshops in schools and community spaces.
